I've been playing with my splodgeaway masks/stencils and thought I'd try putting the colour direct to the masks and running it through a die cutting machine using it as a printing press. I didn't use the embossing plate just the base and cutting plates. I had intended to colourwash out some of the ink once pressed but I rather liked the textured effect the ink left made, the resulting picture reminscent of an illustration from a childrens's book. I used Ranger distress and adirondack inks.
