I revisited Tim Holtz April 2014 tag as I really enjoyed my first attempt but wanted this time to make it bigger. I used a layering stencil as a template for the tag. The sentiment is from a stamp by Clarity stamps.
Jassy...this is such a pretty tag! I really like your combination of so many Tim die cuts to make this such a unique piece. Love the frameworks at the top and the bird and branch at the bottom. Love your sentiment, too! Your faux tea roses are so pretty! Thank so much for sharing your art with us at CC3C. <3 Candy
Beautiful! Is the background paint marbling? Gorgeous foundation for the beautifully arranged layers. Thanks for the kind comment you left on my blog. ;-)

ReplyDeleteNo Cheryl, the background is distress paint spritzed and dried then distress ink with some spritz and flick.
DeleteJassy this tag is gorgeous, great job!
ReplyDeleteYour tag is beautiful!Love all the little components. Great use of the roses!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty tag. You did the remake justice. I too have thought I often would like a larger tag. The bright colored roses add just the right detail.
